Queen Margrethe II Of Denmark Visit To Ghana

Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III - Akwamumanhene exchanging pleasantries with Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark at the Bogyawe Palace, Akwamufie on the 25th of November 2017. The Queen of Denmark is on a state visit to Ghana and payed a courtesy call on the Akwamuhene. The Queen also wanted to connect to history by looking at the original Osu Christianborg Castle keys which was retained as a trophy by the Akwamuhene in 1694 when he returned the castle to the Danes. It was a historic and colorful occasion. God bless Ghana, God bless Akwamuman and Denmark. The Socio-Economic Need of Ghana

The National President of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) Mrs Cecilia Kwakye Cofie, has asked the government, to as a matter of urgency, release subsidies which has been in arrears for three terms to the school. She said the schools risked being closed down prematurely if the absorbed fees by the government had not reached the schools “immediately”. Speaking at the 68th Speech and Prize-Giving Day of Winneba Secondary School in Winneba on Saturday, she said “the major challenges confronting the Senior High School (SHS) is the arrears and subsidies, release of payment of scholarship to SHS and the renege on the part of the government to supply food to the schools. After 10 years here, 10 wonderful, successful years, but very demanding years, it is a very tough decision to decide to step aside.
